Alexander Weilsmann has extensive experience in New South Wales Government public sector for over 15 years in:

In 2005, Alexander was appointed by the NSW Government as the Principal Adviser to the Consul General of The Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste in Sydney. He identified and established opportunities for the NSW Government and corporate sector to participate in nation building, including economic development and strengthening the institutions of state in Timor-Leste.

Alexander has lived and worked in Papua New Guinea and The Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste.

Alexander left the NSW Government in 2007 and has continued to advise government and the corporate sectors.

Alexander is a Master of Public Policy (The University of Sydney), a Master of Arts (International Relations) (The University of New South Wales) and holds tertiary qualifications in public sector management. His experience, skills, expertise, qualifications, and contacts are frequently sought after by the corporate and public sectors. He is preparing for his PhD candidature looking into the role of transnational corporations in Timor-Leste.
